He was among the founders of the Movie Club di Torino and the Torino Film Festival, which he directed for six years. He served for seven years as President of Film Commission Torino Piemonte and for six editions as President of the Roma Fiction Fest. Since 1994 he has been the author and host of Hollywood Party on Rai Radio3. He won a Nastro d’Argento for the documentary Lorenza Mazzetti – Perché sono un genio. He is Conservator of the Cineteca Nazionale at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia.
